With over four decades of distinguished practice, Dr. Rakesh Kapoor is one of India's foremost urologists. He is credited with establishing North India's Renal Transplant Programme, pioneering KTP and holmium laser technologies, and setting up paediatric, female reconstructive, and laparoscopic urology at SGPGIMS — all firsts in North India.
Dr. Rohit Kapoor brings precision and modern surgical technique to the Kapoor legacy. Trained at Dr. D.Y. Patil Hospital Pune in robotic and laparoscopic urology, he joined Medanta Lucknow in 2021. He holds expertise in reconstructive urology, stone disease, uro-oncology, and andrology — with national and international publications to his name.
